Twenty-something years ago, I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Quickly after, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where I would soon fall in love with the Old North State. As a child, I had a curious streak where I would obsessively tinker and take apart every toy I had, even the new ones. This curiosity - now defined as restlessness - set the course for the rest of my childhood and early adult years.

I declared my major late in my career at the University of North Carolina. It wasn't because I didn't know what I wanted to do, I just didn't know which major offered what I needed. I found that journalism and advertising fulfilled my need; and that need was to learn about everything. I jumped in head first.

Several years later and many life lessons learned, I find myself still fascinated with the world of media and technology and what implications it has for not only me, but for all of us. Here, learning on the fly is expected and innovation is encouraged and these are two things I can find myself doing for a long, long time.

Sports, film and my pet cat occupy a lot of my time outside of work. In addition to that, I have many projects that I pursue in my free time. This site helps to showcase a few of them - mainly writing and photography - as well as display things that are interesting. To me, anyway.
